Ginny Dutile, MSW, CMC
VP of Operations & Life Care Manager
Ginny earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Cal State Dominguez Hills in 1996 and launched her career as a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP). Ginny implemented, evaluated, and monitored program development for developmentally disabled adults, as well as created new training and orientation programs for facility staff. Over the next 16 years, Ginny assisted in opening two six-bed board-and-care facilities for developmentally disabled individuals. Ginny then became Director of Social Services in rehabilitation facilities. Her passion for operations led her to obtain licenses as a Nursing Home Administrator and an Executive Director for RCFEs (Residential Care for the Elderly).
Ginny joined Keen Home Care in 2006 and serves as the VP of Operations and a Life Care Manager. Her managerial background and psychological training lend themselves well to assist, educate, and collaborate with seniors, families, and care teams in managing difficult behaviors, end-of-life issues, transitions in care needs, and strategic planning. Ginny routinely helps families have difficult conversations and complete necessary documents (Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare and Finances, and Advanced Directives) to ensure their affairs and care wishes are honored.
Somewhere along her professional development path, Ginny found time to raise four amazing children, who live with her in her Long Beach home. Ginny enjoys cooking, dancing, music, and keeping pace with her playful bunch.

Client Services Specialist
As a girl, Alma watched over her younger siblings, instilling in her the value of caring for others. She lived in a small town about eight hours from Mexico City until she was 15, when she came to the United States. Alma currently attends Long Beach City College, with the goal of becoming an LVN.
In 2007, Alma began working at Keen Home Care as a part-time caregiver and a year later was promoted to caregiver team leader. Today she is the Client Services Specialist, in charge of client relations, quality assurance visits, and caregiver training.
“I don’t see myself working for another company or doing something else,” she says. “I love everything about this job.”
Alma is ever warm and vibrant, though her smile becomes even wider when she speaks of her favorite aspects of her work: “No question, it’s helping clients one on one. Even the minimal things I might do for them can brighten their day.”
In her free time, Alma takes good care of herself, too, hiking, going to the gym, running, and traveling.
Roberta (Robbi) Anderson
Payroll & Accounts Manager
Robbi has a genuine, winning personality that makes everyone in her presence feel immediately at ease. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and years of experience as a counselor in various settings, Robbi seeks to serve others through her work.
Not only is she a seasoned professional in the home care industry, but she knows the stress, heartaches, and rewards of taking care of her own terminally ill mother for her last two years. She is someone who understands firsthand what you and your loved one are going through.
“Ive never dealt with a company owner who had such integrity and compassion for her clients and staff,” Robbi says of Machelle Thompson, CEO of Keen Home Care. “Keen feels like a second family, and we all feel very motivated to do our best.”
In her downtime, Robbi designs custom jewelry, enjoys wine tastings, and has competed in crossword-puzzle tournaments.
Client Care Coordinator
Latoya began her journey in the home care field in 2012, first as a caregiver but quickly moving up to Activities Director and then Shift Lead at an Assisted Living facility. She fell in love with the profession right from the start and has found a great sense of purpose and honor in ensuring that our clients are well taken care of. As Client Care Coordinator, she takes great pride in providing our clients with caregivers that she knows they can trust.
She comes by her aptitude for caring for others naturally, as she is extremely family oriented as well. She loves spending as much of her downtime as possible with her husband and two amazing kids, doing anything from swimming to taking her son on bike rides to enjoying Sundays at her mom’s house.
Care Development Manager
Christine earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from St. Louis’ University and completed an extensive Nursing Assistant course from The Asian College of Science and Technology in the Philippines. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, gardening, baking, listening to music, and being close to nature. She is currently looking into the area of Health Information Technology to see the benefits it can bring to the Home Care Industry.
Caregiving is innate to Christine. Growing up, she witnessed how her parents cared and repeatedly risked their own lives to save others. She also received her first training on medication and oxygen administration, vital signs monitoring, first aid and basic life support at the age of 9 when she and her older brother had to help care for their mother who had 2 artificial heart valves.
In 2003, Christine worked as a direct care staff for an RCFE in Mission Viejo and provided in-home care to physically or mentally challenged individuals. She moved to Long Beach in 2007 and worked as a Client Care Coordinator for a Caregiving Agency for 8 years and later became the Quality Care Manager for a Home Care Organization for 3 years before joining KEEN.
Christine aims to make both the caregivers’ job and the clients’ quality of life more purposeful and meaningful by imparting as much help and guidance as she can, or just by being there when needed. For her, seeing caregivers and clients happy working together is an awesome feeling.
