Keen Private Duty In-Home Care

Celebrating your ongoing Safety and Independence in your own Home

Answers to Your Questions

Choosing a private-duty home care company is a significant decision, recognizing the weight of inviting someone new into your personal space. We deeply understand these concerns and aim to alleviate them. Here are responses to common questions from our clients:

  • Our process begins with an in-person meeting in your home, hospital, or rehab facility, involving you and your support system. This allows us to assess your needs comprehensively and understand your preferences.
  • Our agency is licensed by the Department of Social Services (DSS), and our caregivers are registered with the DSS, undergo Department of Justice background checks, and undergo continuous monitoring.
  • All Keen caregivers are W-2 employees, with Keen handling payroll liabilities, workman’s compensation, and liability insurance. This ensures no liability for you when our staff provides care support in your home.
  • A Keen Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) collaborates with you to create a personalized care plan, educates our caregivers about your specific needs and maintains regular contact and updates. This enables us to monitor changes in health conditions, and consistently meet goals established during the initial planning stage.
